In the lead-up to Jake Paul’s fight against Ben Askren, not many from the MMA community were in support of Paul. However, Jorge ‘Gamebred’ Masvidal was more than happy to help Paul in taking out a common enemy. The pair posted videos and photos of them training together. ‘The Problem Child’ was hoping to emulate a knockout of Ben Askren, similar to what Jorge Masvidal did.

However, in his second fight, ‘The Problem Child’ was matched up against Tyron Woodley. This time around, he received no support from Masvidal, as Woodley and ‘Gamebred’ are friends. This soured the relationship between Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal.
In a recent interview with ESPN, Jorge Masvidal shared his thoughts on his former friend Jake Paul and a possible fight against him. He said, “UFC would have to sign off, but nothing is impossible. Dana doesn’t like those guys and Dana knows I’ll go in there and put a hurting on those kids. Maybe he does send in the f**king assassin.” (h/t MMAJunkie)

‘Gamebred’ continued, “I’m gonna beat up all the Pauls. If they put money in my pocket, that Logan Paul dude, Jake Paul, whoever Paul dudes – if they put money in my pocket, of course I’d like to break some Disney characters’ faces. I’ve been fighting men who have been training since 7, 8 years old to do the same thing to me what I want to do to them. Fighting guys like (the Pauls) is a bonus, man.”

Is Jorge Masvidal vs Jake Paul a possibility?
In the build-up to the fight against Tyron Woodley, Jake Paul bashed Masvidal for siding with ‘The Chosen One’. Paul also said that he would like to face Jorge Masvidal and sent out a stern warning to ‘Gamebred’. Masvidal is also interested in the challenge, but getting a fight done could be next to impossible.

Dana White has stated multiple times that he will never get into any business deals with either of the Paul’s. Masvidal fighting either Jake or Logan would require the approval of Dana White and the UFC since he is still under contract with the promotion.
