A heavyweight championship bout always draws the attention of the entire sporting world. Even more so when it is a trilogy between two of the best heavyweights of this era in Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder. Wilder and Fury put an end to their trilogy earlier today. Tyson Fury ended the trilogy with two wins as he put on a masterclass tonight and stopped Wilder in round 11.

UFC fan favorite, Nate Diaz, who was in attendance, gave his thoughts on the fight in an interview with Fight Hub TV. When asked what he made of the fight, he said, “Good fight.” Diaz went on to praise Deontay Wilder for the heart he displayed in the boxing ring today and stated, “No I knew he (Wilder) would be. So that is cool to watch.” The Stockton native continued, “We’ll see whatever he (Fury) wants to do, he will be able to do so that will be cool to watch.”

When will we see Nate Diaz in action again?
Nate Diaz last competed at UFC 263 against Leon Edwards. Diaz and Edwards went the distance in the first five-round fight in the UFC, that was not a title fight or main event. The Stockton native almost secured a finish in the dying minutes of the last round after he stunned Edwards with a good punch.

Diaz has since stated that he would like to continue fighting and does not plan on taking time off from the sport. He recently stated on social media that he was targeting a fight in December for his comeback. However, at this point in time, there are no developments on the situation.
Diaz is a money fight in the UFC and has a bevy of fighters waiting to fight him. The younger Diaz brother has his eyes set on a fight with fellow welterweight Vicente Luque.

The two men have accepted each other’s call-outs on social media. Luque is adamant that a fight between the two will be a ‘Fight of the year’ candidate for sure. ‘The Silent Assassin’ is also pushing for the fight to be finalized sooner rather than later.
