

Dillon Danis has made a name for himself for being a brash individual who calls out anyone and everyone. However, MMA fans will know that Danis is an extremely accomplished black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who’s run as a brown belt was the stuff of legends. Dillon Danis became a prominent figure in MMA after he helped Conor McGregor prepare for his rematch against Nate Diaz.
He has since been associated with Conor McGregor. While there are misconceptions that he is McGregor’s Jiu-Jitsu coach, Danis is a training partner and a friend to ‘The Notorious’. The Bellator fighter does not shy away from calling out fighters and making bold claims.
Most recently, Danis was asked how he would fare against Khabib. He replied, “In straight grappling? Ah, come on,” Danis replied when asked in a recent interview if he could defeat Nurmagomedov.”

He continued, “Yeah [it’s easy work], come on. Everybody knows that, though. But it’s not my fight. It’s Conor’s fight.”
Danis was at the forefront of the post-fight brawl between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s camp at UFC 229.
Danis has posted multiple offensive memes that have not sat well with ‘The Eagle’ and his camp. The animosity between the two men is well known.

Is a rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov on the cards?
Conor McGregor is set to make his return to the octagon in a few weeks when he takes on Dustin Poirier. ‘The Notorious’ takes on ‘The Diamond’ seven years on from their last fight which took place at 145-pounds.
Dana White has stated that he will be meeting Khabib Nurmagomedov this month to talk about his future in the UFC.
If Conor McGregor manages to pull off a dominant win over Dustin Poirier, it might entice ‘The Eagle’ to grant a rematch against his arch-rival.

However, his manager Ali Abdelaziz has stated that Khabib would come out of retirement only for a fight against ‘GSP.’
