‘The Problem Child’ believes that his skillset in boxing is superior, as he has been focusing on boxing ever since he got into the sport. MMA fighters such as Askren have to train jiu-jitsu, wrestling, grappling among other practices.
Therefore, he feels he would fare well against MMA fighters. ‘Funky’ did not appreciate the comments made. He responded to a clip of the interview on Twitter saying, “He is out of his damn mind.”
In response, ‘The Problem Child’ mocked Ben about being knocked out in five-seconds by Jorge Masvidal. Askren, a former champion with ONE, hit back at the YouTuber, “Jake I’m a world-class athlete, you’re a thespian. Stay in your lane.”
