BREAKING: Anderson Silva Agrees For a Boxing Super-Fight Against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

Anderson Silva is all set to return for one more match. The former UFC Middleweight champion and legend has agreed to have a boxing match with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

Silva was one of the greatest ever MMA fighters and held the record for the longest ever UFC title reign. Silva has not competed in a ring since facing Uriah Hall in November 2020.

Silva has had a long and fruitful MMA career. He has won championships and made many records, and is proud of whatever he has achieved. “When I look back at my journey, I see that nothing has been in vain.”

Silva has always been a tenacious fighter, and that showed when he stepped in the ring. Even after he was released from the UFC, Silva got emotional after the fight. Then he had planned to continue his fighting career elsewhere, and now the time seems to have come for that.

“I am extremely happy for the opportunity to test my boxing skills with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. I train continuously, always striving for resilience and to overcome obstacles. Fighting is my everlasting breath,” Silva said.

The 45-year-old seems really excited about the fight, and understandably so. Silva loves to compete, and this is a great opportunity for ‘The Spider’ to get back into the ring.

This event might be booked as a “Tribute to the Kings” which would be a suitable title for the show as Silva and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr are both kings in their respective sports.

While talking to TMZ, Chavez Jr said, “I have rededicated myself to the sport that I love and I will be ready to face anyone in the Light Heavyweight division starting with Silva, I will be prepared to be victorious on June 19.”

Both the fighters are big names in their sport and are really popular around the globe, hence they will excite people from all over the world.

The fight is going to take place on June 19 at the Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico. The event will also see a fight between Julio César Chávez Sr and Hector Camacho Jr.
