As mentioned, Dern is riding a 4 fight win streak. If we take an explicit look at her career, she has been an excellent grappler. She has picked up all her wins either by submission or decision.

She won the fight via the first-round kneebar and thus became the first woman to finish a fight by any form of leg lock in UFC history.

She then fought Randa Markos on September 19, 2020, at UFC Fight Night 178 and won the fight via submission in the first round.

Dern faced Virna Jandiroba on December 12, 2020, at UFC 256. She won the fight by unanimous decision. As mentioned above, her last fight ended in a win against Nina Nunes.

Rodriguez meanwhile, is on a 2 fight win streak. She last defeated Michelle Waterson on UFC on ESPN 24 via unanimous decision earlier this May. Prior to that, she picked up an impressive TKO win over Amanda Ribas at UFC 257: Poirier vs McGregor 2.
