It has been a tough few years for Cody Garbrandt. Ever since winning his title, things have not been going his way. The former bantamweight champion was supposed to fight Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 255; however, he pulled out due to injuries.
‘No Love’ has his sights set on the flyweight division, where he aims to become one of the very few people to have won belts into divisions. However, this will not be easy given the form that the champion is in right now.
After a dominant defense against Alex Perez, Figueiredo accepted a quick turnaround fight against Brandon Moreno. The pair will meet at UFC 256 in a few weeks’ time. Garbrandt will be watching closely as he will aim to take on the winner of the fight.
