Reigning UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has hit out at former UFC dual division champion, Conor McGregor, for verbally attacking him during his Q&A session over Twitter recently. ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, who doesn’t enjoy a good relationship with the Irishman, had a fiery response for him.

In the Q&A session, a fan asked the Irishman, “What’s it like to spark people unconscious in three different weight divisions?” McGregor replied to him and wrote, “Tremendous! I love this record! I fight for the 170lb title I will spark him too.”

“That would be fastest ko in ufc title fight (13 seconds) Most knockdowns in ufc title fight (5) And then another KO in a ufc title fight. 3 title fights. 3 ko’s, 3 new records. It’s right there!”

His tweet clearly targeted ‘The Nigerian Nightmare‘. The latter, though, asked Conor to tag an individual whenever he was saying something about someone. He also brought out some fighters’ names, who have defeated McGregor to tease him in the end.

“Spark who?? You must be talking about that pipe you’ve been smoking,” Usman said. “Unlike you, if I’m gonna talk shit ill @ U. Now be quiet before I call Poirier or Khabib or Diaz to finish you again.”

Usman is gearing up for his upcoming rematch against ‘Chaos’ Colby Covington. The latter, who formally held the interim title, gets another shot at the gold after picking up an impressive win since his loss to Usman.

The duo will headline UFC 268, and just like their previous fight, fans would hope to see another classic between the two welterweight greats. ‘Chaos’ proved to be the toughest competition yet for ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ and he would be itching to back his trash talks with his in-ring performance.
