UFC lightweight elites Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier are just a few hours away from a blockbuster trilogy clash at UFC 264. The veterans will enter the ring to culminate an epic rivalry that started 7 years ago.

Both fighters are level with 1 victory and as many losses. Their recent fight, the headliner of UFC 257, ended in the favor of the ‘Diamond’ as he inflicted a TKO win over McGregor.

Both McGregor and Poirier stand at 5’9″ inches tall. Since both of them compete in the lightweight division, they weigh around 155 lbs. Both are southpaws with an incredible striking game.

Prior to that, he featured in the biggest paper-per-view event for UFC against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. He incurred a submission loss in a match that was filled with drama even after the fight.

Poirier (27-6), meanwhile, has recorded some emphatic ones in the build-up to this fight. This January, he avenged his previous loss by handing McGregor a first-of-its-kind loss (TKO/KO) for him.

McGregor meanwhile, is the richest UFC fighter ever. His net worth currently stands at $400 million, according to SCMP.com.

‘The Notorious’ one recently bagged the award for the highest-paid sports athlete in the past year with earnings close to $180 million.

This happened because of his sale of the majority shares of his whiskey brand Proper 12. His single largest pay for a match came in a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather.
