UFC lightweight elites Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will collide at UFC 264 in the headlining clash. Many current and former fighters like Colby Covington, Michael Bisping, GSP, and others have predicted the outcome.

The duo will collide for the second time this year after their bout at UFC 257 ended in a TKO win for Poirier. And unlike last time, where there was an unusual calm around McGregor’s pre-fight antics, this time around, it was all fiery.

McGregor is known to get right into his opponent’s mind before a fight. He targets them on the personal front to get a mental edge before they walk into the ring.

This time, ‘The Notorious‘ one targeted Poirier’s wife, Jolie. Recently, he tweeted a photo with Jolie sending a message on his Instagram account. Poirier, in an interview, laughed off that incident and termed it fabricated.

With the fight just around the corner, former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington took to social media to throw some dirt on McGregor and Poirier. He even had few words to share on Poirier’s wife.

‘Chaos’ said, “We are back for UFC 264 this weekend and in the main event, we got the con man vs the ultimate failing champion, Dustin Sorier.

“And I know, Conor is a household name but so is trash. The only thing that Dustin gonna be worried about is where his wife Jolie is sliding,” he said.

“Coz I heard that it really hurt Dustin’s feeling that his wife Jolie was sliding into Conor’s dm’s. But let’s not worry him about where she’s sliding right now.

“Coz she slid in my drawers. Don’t believe me? See for yourself (shows Jolie’s photo on undergarments),” he further added.

What’s next for Colby Covington?

Covington (16-2) is the number one contender for the UFC welterweight championship. President Dana White has time and again iterated that he will be the one facing Kamaru Usman next.

If the fight happens, it will be a rematch from UFC 245 when Usman defeated ‘Chaos’ via TKO to successfully defend his gold.

Since then, he has featured in only one match. He defeated former welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, at UFC Fight Night 178 via TKO.

The match has still not been finalized officially by the UFC. ‘Chaos’ though, would be trying hard to get this match and also claim the undisputed welterweight title.
