Khamzat Chimaev has been a busy man on social media. The 26-year-old has shown that he is just as good with Twitter trash talk as he is a fighter. ‘Borz’ has been calling out anyone and everyone in and around his weight class to secure a fight.

Most fighters have not replied to call-outs made by Chimaev. However, Darren Till is not one to back away from a bit of back and forth on Twitter. He said that he would gladly take on Chimaev once he is done with Jack Hermansson. This has caused a bit of back and forth between the two men on social media.

Khamzat Chimaev and Darren Till engage in banter on Twitter

Khamzat Chimaev has returned to Fight Island to where he will serve as a cornerman for a teammate’s UFC debut. While answering media questions Khamzat was asked what he thought of Till putting his name forward for a fight against him.

He replied that Till was not on his level and he would smash him. This did not sit well with ‘The Gorilla’ who replied to a Tweet with Chimaev’s statement with a dozen laughing emojis. He wrote, “We will see”. Till then followed it up with another tweet that said, “Trust me (Khamzat Chimaev) will fall before my knees, it’s not even gonna be close.”

‘Borz’ then replied to the same on Instagram. The Russian-born fighter posted a picture of Darren Till knocked out cold with a caption that said, “You mean like this (Darren Till)? Because this really wasn’t close.”

Darren Till is scheduled to take on Jack Hermansson on December 5. It is only after this fight that the UFC can think about booking the duo at middleweight. Whether the trash talk materializes into a fight remains to be seen. However, MMA fans will be thoroughly enjoying the back and forth between two of the most likable fighters on the roster.
