Darren Till has been battling with injuries that have kept him out for a while. ‘The Gorilla’ was supposed to take on Jack Hermansson earlier this month in an exciting middleweight clash. However, a lingering knee injury ruled him out of his third fight at 185-pounds.
Till started his career in the UFC’s welterweight division. However, he moved up to middleweight in 2019 and is currently 1-1 in the division. This includes a win over Kelvin Gastelum and a defeat to the former champion Robert Whittaker.

While there is no official confirmation on it yet, a move up to light heavyweight might be a positive one for Till. This is a division that is lacking big names right now and has a new champion in Jan Blachowicz. It remains to be seen whether Till actually follows through on his comments. Either way, Darren Till is an interesting fighter to watch regardless of weight classes.
