The Fight Night card on March 13th finally has a main event in place. Leon Edwards will be taking on Belal Muhammad in a five-round fight. The winner will most likely fight for the title in their next bout. The fight is a big step up for Muhammad, as he has never headlined a UFC card before. Moreover, he will fight someone who is on an eight-fight win streak with a lot of hype around him.

Edwards has been out of competition since July 2019. Although the Briton wanted to fight and stay active, circumstances around the world meant it was not possible for him to fly over to the United States to fight.
On March 13th, he has an excellent opportunity to prove why he is one of the best in the welterweight division.

“I don’t know man, the way he fights, he needs time to get in like great shape…. Because you don’t get in that kinda shape fast, it takes time to be able to put out the kinda effort that Colby Covington puts out whenever he fights. So, I see why he didn’t. It is no secret that the UFC wanted to book a fight between Colby and Edwards for the main event. ‘Rocky’ agreed to the fight, however, ‘Chaos’ didn’t as he did not want to partake in ‘charity’. Covington has his sights set on the title and is the only fight he wants besides Masvidal.
