The rivalry between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s camp is perhaps the most heated feud the UFC has ever seen. In the lead up to their much-expected fight, both camps crossed many lines as family, religion, and everything in between was dragged in.

The rivalry heated to a point where ‘The Eagle’ jumped out of the cage after his victory and assaulted teammates and coaches from Conor McGregor’s camp.

What happened after the fight marred the performance that Khabib put on during UFC 229. Most fans and pundits believe that the rivalry between the two men would simmer down once the fight was over.

However, they have continued to go attack each other on social media. Most recently, ‘The Notorious’ got into a war of words with Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz on Twitter.

Things took a dark turn when ‘The Notorious’ shared the name ‘Dillon Danis’ which is an alias Abdelaziz allegedly used in 2001. Surprisingly, this was linked to a criminal investigation that took place at the time.

The Irish superstar’s teammate and Bellator fighter Dillon Danis took to Twitter to share a meme on the same. The meme made fun of Ali Abdelaziz allegedly using multiple identities.

Will we see Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov 2?

‘The Notorious’ is set to make his return to the octagon next month against Dustin Poirier. While his arch-rival Nurmagomedov has retired from the sport, Dana White is certain that he can convince the legendary Russian fighter to return to the octagon and make it 30-0.

‘The Eagle’ has stated multiple times that he would not be interested in fighting Dustin or Conor as he has choked them both out. A fight against Georges St. Pierre is what Khabib has his eyes on but it looks unlikely.
