Curtis Blaydes set to help Dominick Reyes bounce back against Jiri Prochazka
In a recent interview with Line Movement MMA, James Lynch asked Curtis Blaydes if he would be helping Dominick Reyes in his upcoming fight against Jiri Prochazka. He said, “It’s always good to hang out with Dom…. I’m really hoping to help him out for his next fight. We were discussing if he wants to come here or if I should go out there for like two weeks. We will definitely get some work in.”
While speaking about the travel being a factor in Dominick’s loss against Jan Blachowicz, ‘Razor’ said, “He was off, It wasn’t…like the guy we saw beat Jon Jones. It was not him against Blachowicz. I don’t know what happened if he had some personal issues at home because that affects you also. It could’ve been anything. But he was a little bit off.”
Dominick Reyes, according to a lot of fans and pundits beat Jon Jones at UFC 247. He pushed ‘Bones’ further than anyone else had previously, and therefore there was good reason to believe he would clinch the vacant title.
However, in his fight against Jan Blachowicz, ‘The Devastator’ was a shadow of himself. He could not get his offense going and ate some clean shots of ‘Polish Power’

Dominick was able to land just 21 total strikes with a below-par accuracy of 41%. Fans and pundits alike thought the fight would be a lot closer than it was.
However, Reyes now has the chance to prove the fight against Blachowicz was a bump on his road to a championship as he takes on a dangerous opponent in Jiri Prochazka.
