However, on this occasion, Israel put out a tweet in appreciation of Konklak Suphisara. More commonly known as ‘Loma Lookboonme’

Israel Adesanya showers praise on ‘Loma’

Konklak Suphisara is a Thai mixed martial artist fighting out of the Tiger Muay Thai gym. She made her promotional debut in October 2019 against Aleksandra Albu and won the fight via split decision. In her second fight with the UFC, she succumbed to a unanimous decision loss against Angela Hill.

In her comeback fight against Jinh Yu Frey, the 24-year-old showed a lot of promise as she secured a unanimous decision win. ‘Loma’ put on a clinical display in Muay Thai as she effectively used nasty elbow and devastating knee strikes.

A short clip of the fight shows ‘Loma’ using brutal and slick elbow attacks while in the clinch. Konklak also used knees brilliantly to pile on the damage and secure the win. During the fight, she landed 85 total strikes with a staggering accuracy of 65%. She also connected with 80 significant strikes during the fight with an accuracy of 58%.

Though ‘Loma’ was taken down once during the fight, she was able to get back up immediately. The Thai fighter was also successful in stuffing three other takedown attempts from Frey.

Following her impressive performance over Frey, ‘Stylebender’ took to twitter to appreciate his fellow fighter. Israel tweeted, “That’s my dawg Loma!! Bad Chick!!”

Konklak is now 2-1 in her last three fights and will look to extend her winning streak. If she can maintain the standard of performance displayed today, it won’t be long before she attains a ranking in her division.
