GSP helping people out during COVID-19

Recently St. Pierre took to Instagram to motivate people to help each other during these profound times. With many people having lost their jobs and unable to provide for themselves and their families, it is important for those who have extra to share. GSP tweeted, “Big wardrobe cleanup today. I’m donating what I’m not wearing anymore to help people in need. I encourage you guys to do the same!.”

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted people all across the globe. From all walks of life, people are left to deal with a common problem. Millions have lost their jobs and businesses and their life savings. It is important to help those that need it, and GSP looks to do just that.

The Canadian superstar got into Martial Arts at a young age due to being bullied. GSP believes that it changed him as a person and made him who he is today. He looks at helping other children who have faced issues with bullying, even starting The Georges St-Pierre Foundation.

Georges St Pierre vs Khabib Nurmagomedov

While St. Pierre might be retired, there is one fight that could motivate him to step back in the octagon. That fight would be against current lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Fans have long drooled over a Khabib vs GSP fight. Nurmagomedov’s late father even wanted his son to face the Canadian in his 30th professional fight. However, with ‘The Eagle’s’ retirement at UFC after beating Justin Gaethje. It is unclear if we will ever witness this match up.

Khabib is yet to relinquish his title, and the UFC still lists him as the lightweight champion. UFC president Dana White recently announced that he would meet the Dagestan champion soon. He believes that we will see Nurmagomedov fight again.
