Rob Font versus Jose Aldo is going to head the UFC Fight Night on the 4th of December in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the main event.

This bantamweight fight has sparked debates all over the UFC world, with fans mostly focused upon Aldo’s age and performance.

One of the biggest names to take part in the debate is the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. He believes that Aldo has already gone past his prime and it’s impossible for a fighter to have two peaks.

Jose Aldo has shown consistency in his last two fights while securing impressive wins over Marlon Vera and Pedro Munhoz.

Aldo’s upcoming opponent and fellow bantamweight fighter responded to “The Eagle’s” comments while keeping “Junior’s” preceding fights in mind.

Rob Font, who has been seen as the challenger in the fight, said, “No, I didn’t really make too much of it. Hopefully, it is true. But it’s not looking like it.”

Rob Font further reacted to Jose Aldo’s preceding fight and stated, “I watched that Munhoz fight and he looked pretty quick to me. So, I’m like that guy hasn’t lost a step, but hopefully, Khabib could know something that I don’t know”

What did Khabib Nurmagomedov say about Jose Aldo?

The Russian wrestler, in an interview with RT Sport, implied that fighters like Jose Aldo (30-7) are just fighting for money and cannot really make it big.

Khabib Nurmagomedov had said, “I call those fighters businessman, they come out to make money. There are real champions that go hard on everyone. They don’t care how the money, of course it’s an important aspect, but he has the competitive spirit. So there’s no way Aldo is having a second peak. You can try to prove it all you want, but I’ve been through this. I know better than you. You’re a journalist, and I’m a fighter.”
