Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are two of the biggest names in their respective sports. The two men crossed paths when they fought in August 2017. The fight broke multiple records and is to date the second-highest selling PPV event of all time.
Both ‘The Notorious’ and ‘Money Mayweather’ walked away from that fight with mega paydays. However, four years on from their bout, neither Mayweather nor McGregor has spared a single opportunity to troll each other.
Recently on Twitter, Conor McGregor replied to a tweet by a fan. The fan stated, “FLOYD MAYWEATHER HAS TRIPLE THE MONEY YOULL EVER HAVE PAL.” To which McGregor responded, “Lol no he doesn’t you silly fool. He doesn’t make a dime outside of the ring.”

McGregor’s statement is contrary to what ‘Money Mayweather’ has been stating for a long time. Mayweather insists he does not need to fight anymore, unlike other fighters, as he has made smart investments. Investments that generate millions for him on a monthly basis allow him to afford his lifestyle without having to fight.

‘The Notorious’ took to Instagram to share an update on his injury. For the first time, McGregor appeared on social media without his plaster. Just five weeks and five days after his operation, McGregor was back on the bike, working his way to full recovery. Although at this point in time, McGregor is far from being able to train, the rate at which McGregor has healed suggests that it will not be long before we see him sparring inside the octagon.
