Former UFC interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington carries a persona that distinguishes him from most of the fighters in the promotion. The American leaves no chances wasted whenever he gets a stage to mock his fellow fighters.

Recently, ‘Chaos’ chose a target who is much bigger than him but carries the same flair on the mic that he possesses, Derrick Lewis. The latter, who is preparing to fight Ciryl Gane for the Interim Heavyweight title, received a special message from the former interim champ.

Chaos‘, in an Instagram video, was promoting mybookie.ag. Besides that, he had few words to share about ‘The Black Beast’.

“Greetings, nerds and virgins. America’s champ is back with America’s pick of the week,” he said. “Brought to you by Colby Covington incorporate and undisputed king of sportsbook, mybookie.ag.”

“UFC 265 is tonight and, well, maybe none of the fighters on the card are relative, but the money you can make on mybookie sure is. And since we are talking about UFC 265, let’s talk about Derrick Lewis.”

He further insulted ‘The Black Beast’ and some fight fans who don’t like him. He said, “He’s fat, unathletic, and hates the people’s champ. Which is ironic because so are most of the people that are watching this video. Don’t be like Derrick, don’t be a loser, don’t be a hater. Be like me. Be a winner.”

Just like his talk, ‘Chaos’ connects a punch with his gloves, too. Apart from his TKO loss to the same opponent at UFC 245, he has been a dominant force in the division. He came pretty close to dethroning ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ last time and would give it a go with full strength this time around.

Although a great fighter, he will still walk in as an underdog against the Nigerian. Usman is undefeated and undisputed till now in UFC. It will be interesting to see how Colby deals with that pressure.
