‘He Knows His Kryptonite’- Henry Cejudo Proposes Return To MMA To Rematch TJ Dillashaw

Henry Cejudo knows that the appetite for his return to MMA is high. Considering how a number of the greats have retired this year, it would be nice to see one of them actually see their prime out.
Henry retired after his win over Dominick Cruz earlier this year. However, Triple C keeps teasing everyone with the idea of a return.
He has done so again by calling out the man he beat to save the Flyweight division, T.J. Dillashaw. Dillashaw was suspended by USADA for using EPO to enhance his performance. Cejudo reaffirmed his belief in TJ’s skills but dismissed it compared to his ability.

“How about a TJ Dillashaw Triple C 2? How does that sound for you guys? He can probably beat all those other guys, but he knows. He knows who his kryptonite is.”
Cejudo added later in the interview, “TJ Dillashaw could bend the knee. He knows who his nightmare is. I don’t know yet, he’s not even in my thoughts to be quite honest with you. I knocked him out in 32 seconds.”
Henry Cejudo vs T.J. Dillashaw: Is a rematch possible?
Considering the fact that Henry Cejudo is the one raising this question, it is likely that a match like this could materialize somewhere down the line.
Usually, fighters don’t like facing fighters that knowingly cheated. However, Cejudo did beat Dillashaw within the first minute of their Flyweight encounter.

An argument many people have proposed is that none of this would have happened if TJ didn’t try to fight at Flyweight. He used EPO to help with the weight cut and was evidently drained when he stepped inside the cage.
Cejudo went and won the title that Dillashaw vacated, so a Bantamweight encounter between these two would be very exciting.

TJ is inarguably one of the best Bantamweights around, and it will be interesting to see how he recovers from his 2-year-long suspension.
If he returns against Cejudo, that match would be pure money. There is too much history there for the UFC to not exploit it.
