UFC heavyweight fighter Derrick Lewis is one of the coolest guys when it comes to giving interviews. The fighter, in all likelihood, is heading towards a showdown with Francis Ngannou for the heavyweight title. A fighter, whom he already got the better off when they first met in 2018.

Recently, he appeared for an interview during UFC 262 event and shared his thoughts on ‘The Predator’ and explained why he hates him.

“Actually, I’m jealous. You got it a lot of here. I don’t really like guys that got here, you know,” he said.
“That’s one of the reasons (not liking Ngannou). And also he makes me look fat when I stand next to him, so f*ck him, f*ck Francis. He needs some pop eyes.”

‘The Black Beast’ further said he doesn’t like anyone. “I really don’t like none (any) of the guys here I fight. None of the guys in my division. Just because of the type of mindset that I go into each and every fight, I don’t want to be friends with any of them. So f*ck them.”
Dana White is adamant about Derrick Lewis vs Francis Ngannou
White appeared for an interview recently, where he had no second thoughts on who is going to face Ngannou next, as Jones is not willing on current terms.
“What are you going to do? You can’t make the guy (Jones) fight,” he said.
“The reality is Derrick Lewis is really the No. 1 contender for the heavyweight championship right now. So it doesn’t matter if Jon Jones wants to fight or doesn’t want to fight.”

White also offered ‘Bones’ Jones a fight with the returning former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic. But the former light heavyweight champion denied the fight in a series of now-deleted tweets.
“What you do is you do the fight with Derrick Lewis and Francis and then Stipe gets the winner,” White asserted after Jones’ denial for a fight with Miocic.
Looks like Miocic is clearly the winner here as he will directly enter the titular bout on his impending return. As for Lewis, it’s a reward for his recent performances, including a four-fight win streak, most of which were dominating wins.
