Swedish UFC welterweight contender Khamzat Chimaev is on a rapid rise in the UFC. At UFC 267, he choked out Li Jingliang and secured his fourth straight finish in the promotion. Rising British fighter Paddy Pimblett is halfway there as he has secured two finishes in two UFC fights.
Unlike ‘Borz’, ‘The Baddy’ has even attracted attention with his call-outs and garnered a response from Chimaev.

Chimaev said, “What’s his name? Polly? Pally? He’s not bad this guy. He has skills. But he talks too much.”
Paddy Pimblett secured a terrific victory over Rodrigo Vargas via first-round submission last week. However, his comments about Mark Zuckerberg, Conor McGregor, and UFC payouts got attention in the media.
While his manner of winning permits him to be vocal, ‘The Baddy‘ will look to be his own self as he progresses in the UFC. Meanwhile, Chimaev will look to keep his hype train on track when he returns to the octagon at UFC 273.
Khamzat Chimaev will fight Gilbert Burns and look to rise to title contention
The welterweight division will see a spectacular bout at UFC 273. Chimaev (#11) will share the octagon with former title challenger Gilbert Burns (#2). This will be his first top-five ranked opponent and his toughest challenge.

Hence, ‘Borz’ will have his work cut out if he is to secure yet another first-round finish. Should ‘Borz’ have his arm raised, he will propel himself into UFC welterweight title contention.

Meanwhile, ‘Durinho’ will look to secure his twenty-first MMA win and re-establish himself as a title challenger. If he beats Chimaev, it will be his second win in a row since losing to Kamaru Usman at UFC 258. The Brazilian beat ‘Wonderboy‘ at UFC 264.

Given the magnitude of this contest, the eyes of the world will be on it. Hence, it can be safe to assume that Pimblett will also be watching.
