Dana White and Floyd Mayweather have a lot of mutual respect for each other. Both men are two of the biggest names in the combat sports world and have been a part of historic combat events. The last time both men worked together was on the Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather fight.

The fight was the second most successful PPV to date in combat sports. Therefore, there is no doubt that if the two men were to get involved in a business deal once again, it would be an event of epic proportions.

Dana White’s latest post with Floyd Mayweather and Rizin FF President Nobuyuki Sakakibara set the rumor mills ablaze with what the three men could be working on.

Cejudo has been teasing fans with a matchup against Floyd Mayweather. This all started after Dana White’s Instagram post with Floyd Mayweather and Rizin FF President Nobuyuki Sakakibara captioned, “HOOOOOOOLY S*IIIIIII*!!!!!! WTF is goin on here @floydmayweather @nobu_sakakibara”

The last time ‘Money’ fought was in 2018. The bout took place under the Rizin FF promotion when he took on undefeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa. Although he was set to take on YouTube star Logan Paul earlier this year in February, the fight has been temporarily postponed.

Meanwhile, Cejudo retired at UFC 249 after defending his belt against Dominick Cruz. He has since stated that he would return for a bumper payday or a third belt. A fight against Mayweather will most definitely be Cejudo’s biggest payday to date by far, and therefore a fight against ‘Money’ makes sense for ‘The Messenger’.

However, this is all speculation at this point as either party has not confirmed anything. What is your take on a potential fight between Cejudo and Floyd Mayweather? Let us know in the comments below!
