Jan Blachowicz rained down on former light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones. The Polish fighter revealed what he believes is the real reason behind Jones moving up a weight class.

The new light heavyweight champion said, “Why doesn’t Jon Jones want to fight at 205 anymore? Because he’s afraid of me. That’s why he moved to heavyweight. This is the reason.”

Jan Blachowicz added that he is paying no attention to ‘Bones’. However, he would love the opportunity to prove everybody wrong if UFC ever matches him up against the former light-heavyweight.

Jan Blachowicz shocked the world as he picked up a stoppage win over former light-heavyweight title contender Dominick Reyes to grab the UFC light-heavyweight gold at UFC 253. The 37-year-old MMA veteran became only the second fighter to hand ‘The Devastator’ a loss inside the Octagon after former champion Jon Jones.

Reyes put up an incredible performance against ‘Bones’ back at UFC 247. Many believed that Reyes did enough to dethrone the champion. Furthermore, they expected him to build on his showing at reign supreme in the title rematch on Fight Island. However, that wasn’t the case.
