In Interviews, Chandler has also mentioned that he and ‘The Diamond’ have an amicable relationship. This was on display on Chandler’s recent Instagram stories. The former Bellator was hosting a watch party for the Super Bowl and shared a clip of Dustin Poirier’s hot sauce on his kitchen top. He grabbed the bottle before going and dumping it in the dustbin.

What is next for Michael Chandler?

Although Chandler had a spectacular debut, it does not warrant a title shot right away. Therefore, if ‘Iron’ is able to secure another win, a title shot for him will be undeniable. However, at this point in time, the list of opponents to face Chandler is between Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira

Fans will be hoping that Chandler fights often in the octagon and is able to prove just why he was touted as one of the best lightweights in the world.
