Conor McGregor is one of the biggest names, not just in the UFC, but in sports, period. ‘The Notorious’ has achieved levels of fame and stardom that were previously never achieved by any MMA fighter. This has allowed him to become friends with other A-list celebrities who are often in attendance for his fights and cheer him on through ups and downs.

A few hours back, ‘The Notorious’ took a few minutes out of his day to go live on Instagram to interact with his fans and answer a few questions. To his surprise, he got an unlikely viewer on his Instagram live in Justin Bieber.

McGregor acknowledged Bieber’s presence and said, “Justin Bieber, what’s up Justin Bieber love you brother… Justin, I love you, bro. I tell you what mate, I appreciate that message from the last fight. That meant a helluva lot to me. It really, truly did. So I have been busy flat out, putting in the work. Full focus, fully immersed in mixed martial arts. It has been nothing but mixed martial arts. So I am ready to put on a show.”

Can Conor McGregor put on a show for the ages at UFC 264?

There is a lot on the line for Conor McGregor at UFC 264. A win will cement him as the top dog at lightweight once again and open the door to a title fight against Charles Oliveira. However, on the flip side, a loss to Dustin Poirier in the trilogy will damage his reputation as a top fighter at lightweight.

Given what is on the line, McGregor has left no stone unturned in making sure he gets the desired result. For this training camp, he has secluded himself away from his wife and newborn child to immerse himself in the world of mixed martial arts.

The eyes of the world will be on McGregor and there is no one in the UFC that performs as well as he does under pressure. If ‘The Notorious’ and his team were able to make necessary changes over the past few weeks, there is no reason why fans can not expect another highlight-reel performance from Conor McGregor.
