Mike Perry has endured as one of the most entertaining fighters on the UFC roster. While a lot of his antics outside the cage have been relatively disgraceful, Perry does bring a sense of edgy humor to the UFC.
However, it often falls flat. The latest example of this can be putting up videos of eating junk food a week ahead of a fight and then missing weight and eventually lose the fight.
Taking the self-deprecating tone that we often see Darren Till use on Twitter to be funny, Mike Perry called out Jake Paul. Paul is fresh off a win against a former NBA Dunk Contest Champion in Nate Robinson in his second pro-boxing bout.

I mean if you want to be serious I think it would be cool to fight @jakepaul , he did a good job last night and I could use a nap if he’s handing em out.

Paul, who himself is controversial enough, doesn’t need to get inside a boxing ring with Perry. However, Perry would be a surprisingly competitive opponent for Paul.
He is a well-trained MMA fighter who has fought elite opponents before. His striking is not bad, so he could step into the ring with Jake. But the odds of that happening are slim to none.
Mike Perry: What is going on?
Perry seems genuinely a little out of control nowadays. Going into all his recent issues seems like a massive task, as the list keeps on increasing. But in terms of the fighter, there is a lot to breakdown.
Perry seemed to be employing a new strategy when he stopped training and had his girlfriend corner him for his fight against Mickey Gall. Perry would dominate Gall en route to a victory.

However, many genuinely started questioning whether Perry is actually improving. His fight against Tim Means was going to be the true litmus test for the new Perry.

However, Perry ended up missing weight for the fight. As he stood on the scale, Perry dabbed while getting his picture taken. Means then went on to beat Perry in a decision win.

All this begs the question of whether Perry is committed to his stint in the world of MMA or not. Hopefully, his next appearance inside the cage is better than the previous one.
