Khamzat Chimaev has been tearing through the ranks of the UFC. The Russian born, Swedish mixed martial artist has been one of the most talked-about fighters since his debut at Fight Island in July. He secured an impressive win on his debut, by submitting John Phillips in the second round of their fight.

He then requested for a quick turnaround and fought Rhys McGee, who he stopped via first-round TKO. By doing so, he broke the record for the quickest turnaround between fights (10 days). As if this was not enough, Khamzat fought Meerschaert next, and knocked him out in 17 seconds to set the record for the least time taken to register three UFC wins.

However, when the company has a promising young talent that can do just about anything inside the octagon, it may be tough to find someone willing to fight him. This is the case with Khamzat as two fighters at two different weight classes have already turned him down. Khamzat maintains that he would like to fight as soon as possible at either his natural middleweight or at welterweight as well.

Do you think Chimaev will get an opponent soon? If yes which weight class would you like to see him at and against whom?
