Jack Hermansson believes he’s two fights away from a title shot, with Israel Adesanya moving to light heavyweight. Hermansson, who was scheduled to fight Darren Till, has now been dealt an opponent change. Kevin Holland now steps in on less than a month’s notice to fight ‘The Joker’.

Kevin Holland has been one of the most impressive fighters on the roster with four wins in 2020. While Holland poses a significant threat, Hermansson believes the reward factor is lower.

With Jan Blachowicz winning the title vacated by Jon Jones, Hermansson believes that the division has lost its biggest stars. “There were three guys that were standing out, Gustafsson, Cormier, and Jones, and with those guys gone and even though Blachowicz and Texeira are great, those guys couldn’t hang with the top three guys that went away.

“It’s not as exciting as it was in the light heavyweight division.” The Joker believes that the promotion is trying to push Stylebender, “It feels like Adesanya is going to do this. The UFC wants him to do it and they want to create this next superstar.”

“He’s big, but they want to make him even bigger.”

‘The Joker’ is currently 8-3 in the UFC. He has beaten the likes of Kelvin Gastelum, Jacare Souza, and David Branch.

A win over ‘The Gorilla’ Till would have put Hermansson on the brink of a title shot. Now, with fighting a lesser-known opponent coupled with Adesanya’s pursuit of light heavyweight glory, Hermansson believes his title shot won’t be coming immediately.
