UFC icon and former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov may have retired from the in-ring action, but he hasn’t stopped being in the spotlight yet. The Dagestani juggernaut has evolved himself and has taken up more background roles.

From starting his own MMA production (Eagle FC) to nurturing and counseling young talents like Islam Makhachev, he is doing everything in his hand to give back to the game.

He wrote, “UAE is a country where dreams come true and where even unimaginable goals can be achieved at (an) extraordinary pace. My team and I spent a long time to choose the best possible location, selecting the most advanced technologies in preparation of this much-awaited release.”

He added, “It marks the beginning of a new era in a country that I strongly believe in and I am willing to invest in!”

The products are available in UAE for now but Khabib claims they will be open throughout the world shortly. “UAE is a country that knows how to dream and I believe in it!” he concluded.

Khabib Nurmagomedov open to playing football

Khabib (29-0) announced his retirement from MMA last year in October. The Dagestani mauler defended his title against the interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

Since then, fans have held onto hope that he would return someday for the action and it seems Khabib is interested in a return but only this time; he is interested in another sport and it’s not MMA, it’s football. ‘The Eagle’ has repeatedly iterated his feelings on the sport.

Khabib recently opened up on where he would like to play if he gets a chance. “If I were to play, it’d probably be in the premier league. Not the Russian one, in England. I’m almost 33, I don’t think I have a future in professional football.”

Well, at this point it does not matter through which sports he will make his return to action. For his fans, it’s only about glimpsing the man who has excelled in everything he has touched.
