It is hard to find a fighter who has had a better 2020 than Kevin Holland. Not only did ‘Trailblazer’ break records in the UFC, but he also collected a cool $150,000 in just performance bonuses. He fought a record-breaking 5 times in 2020, despite his first fight being in May that year. Holland has vowed to better his record from last year and so far, he has gotten off to a good start.

Can Kevin Holland break his own record this year?

The much-anticipated middleweight clash between Darren Till and Marvin Vettori has unfortunately been called off. ‘The Gorilla’ announced on social media that he suffered from a broken collarbone that will prevent him from taking part in the bout.

Till and Vettori are ranked 5th and 6th respectively at 185-pounds. The common consensus was that the winner would fight for the belt, with champion ‘Izzy’ keen on fighting Darren Till.

Vettori in his most recent fight ironically stepped in on short notice to replace Darren Till against Jack Hermansson. He secured an impressive unanimous decision and in the process extended his win streak to 4-0. Ever since losing to champion Adesanya, ‘The Italian Dream’ has bounced back impressively and is a much-improved fighter.

For ‘Trailblazer‘, the fight is an excellent opportunity to bounce back from a sub-par display in his last outing. For ‘The Italian Dream’ the fight would be an excellent opportunity to secure a rematch against ‘The Last Stylebender’ as he believes he has made the necessary improvements to avenge his loss.
