Kevin Lee is desperate for a fight. ‘The Motown Phenom’ is finding it extremely hard to get a dance partner for his return to the octagon on short notice. Lee was initially set to face the up-and-coming prospect, Sean Brady, at UFC 264, but an injury ruled him out of the fight.

Hence, the promotion rescheduled the bout between the two men for UFC Vegas 35 on August 28th. Unfortunately, this time around, it was Brady who was forced to withdraw due to an infection in his foot.

With the fight card just a few weeks away, it appears as though Kevin Lee is in no mood to reschedule the fight. Instead, he wants a replacement for Sean Brady. ‘The Motown Phenom’ called out a few names in the welterweight division.

Lee said, “@platinummikeperry you told me you needed more time in July, how’s August 28th sound? Grow some ba**s and get on the treadmill we got 3 weeks.” Kevin Lee followed that up by calling out Belal Muhammad and Neil Magny.

Kevin Lee is ready to accept a fight on short notice

‘The Motown Phenom’ has been jumping up and down in weight classes for his past few fights. This time around, Lee has decided to fight at 170-pounds. Given his inactivity in the division of late, Lee is currently unranked at 170-pounds.

‘The Motown Phenom’ called out the likes of Magny and Muhammad, who sit at 8th and 9th respectively in the division. It might be difficult to get a fight done with either of the two, given that a short notice fight against an unranked fighter is not the most beneficial for them.

However, a fight against Mike Perry is something that could be done, as Perry, who is also unranked in the division, last fought in April 2021.
