In a recent interview, Danny Segura of MMA Junkie, asked Javier Mendez how Khabib was doing after a tough 2020.
He said, “He’s doing good. He’s doing really good, he’s doing everything he needs to do. Taking care of his family, the people that are close to him. He’s creating jobs for everybody that is close and dear to him like family. He’s out there doing all the good work that his father set out to do and he’s doing the same thing. The only difference is he is not entering politics. But he’s doing the same task of taking care of people like his father always has.”
Recently, there were reports of a potential fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Georges St-Pierre after Kenny Florian mentioned that he had heard rumblings about the same on his podcast. However, Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, was quick to shut down the rumors with a tweet.
