Khabib Nurmagomedov Shares Huge News for Fans- Set to Tour the UK Next Month

Khabib Nurmagomedov stepped away from the sport of MMA on his own terms. ‘The Eagle’ hung up his gloves after a dominant win over Justin Gaethje. Fans and pundits alike believed Justin Gaethje would be the biggest test for Nurmagomedov. 

After stepping away from the sport, Nurmagomedov has spent his time engaging in the activities that he enjoys the most outside of MMA. ‘The Eagle’ is involved in multiple business ventures that include everything from an MMA promotion to a telecom service provider. 

In his most recent Instagram post, Khabib shared good news for his fans in the United Kingdom. He said, “UK get ready! I am sending you location. for October 2, London. October 3 Harrogate.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and life after retirement

Following his retirement, Khabib Nurmagomedov has transitioned well into the role of a coach for his fellow fighters. He is undefeated as a coach this year and has cornered the likes of Umar Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, and Abubakar Nurmagomedov, among others this year. 

On top of that, ‘The Eagle’ currently owns and operates the MMA promotion Eagle FC. The promotion is a feeder league to the UFC.

During this time away from the sport, Dana White and the UFC have tried to lure him back. They have offered the likes of Georges St-Pierre for a comeback fight. However, ‘The Eagle’ has refused all offers and claims that now it is time for his prodigy, Islam Makhachev, to take over the reins. Makhachev is just a win or two away from fighting for the UFC lightweight strap.
