List of UFC Fighters Who Will Return in April

The UFC has had a packed slew of fights to open 2021. However, now that the promotion is heading into the spring, some big names have already been announced for the cards in April.

April 2020 didn’t see any fights as the world was gripping with the COVID-19 pandemic. However, this year, we have seen big fight announcements from all major promotions.

It has already been announced that two of their women’s titles will be defended. Meanwhile, former Strawweight Champion Jessica Andrade will challenge Valentina Shevchenko for the Flyweight title. Similarly, Weili Zhang will defend her title after over a year against Rose Namajunas.

Former Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker will return to face Paulo Costa, who will want to rebound from his loss to Israel Adesanya. Along with this, we will see the returns of fam favorite Mike Perry and former Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman.

Former UFC fighters returning outside the promotion

There will be a lot of fighters that once were atop the UFC that will be making noise outside the promotion. We have three former UFC champions and two former title contenders, all booking fights for April. Former Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson and Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez will be returning for ONE Championship. However, DJ will be challenging for the Flyweight title.

Former title contenders Yoel Romero and Anthony ‘Rumble Johnson’ will be meeting in Bellator in the Light Heavyweight Grand Prix. Meanwhile, former Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis will be debuting for the PFL Along with them, ONE Championship Light Heavyweight Champion Aung La Nsang is also returning.
