Jorge Masvidal seems to have a new adherent. The BMF titleholder is one of the biggest stars in the UFC. An incredible 2019 saw his fame skyrocket to meteoric heights. Masvidal went into his fight against Darren Till in early 2019, after almost two years out. He KOed ‘The Gorilla’ and then went on to knockout Ben Askren in record-breaking style. The Miami native then rounded out the year by winning the ‘BMF’ belt against Nate Diaz. 

Jorge Masvidal’s growth in the year 2019 was perhaps the most impressive by a fighter in a long time. Since then, a relatively unknown Masvidal has become one of the big names in the UFC. With all the newfound fame and admiration, he has received new opportunities both inside and outside the octagon.

Jorge Masvidal has an unlikely new supporter 

It was recently reported that Jorge Masvidal would join Donald Trump Jr in a campaign bus across South Florida. The tour was a part of a “Fighters Against Socialism” tour aimed at turning out Hispanics in Florida for President Trump.

Following the event, President Donal Trump put out a Tweet that said, “Jorge, you’re really tough and really smart. My Great Honor to have your support! @GamebredFighter”. ‘Gamebred’ replied saying, “My honor and duty to the country my father risked his life escaping to from the hands of communists. Said it before and I’ll say it again, you a bmf sir #supernecessary”

‘Gamebred’s’ friend turned bitter rival Colby Covington is also a vehement Trump supporter and has left no opportunity to show his allegiance. It is rumored that a fight between ‘Chaos’ and ‘Gamebred’ is in the works before the end of this year.
