Norwegian welterweight fighter Emil Meek has been removed from the fan rankings pool and moved to the former fighters category in the latest update from the UFC site.

The Norwegian fighter last fought at UFC Fight Night 168 against Jake Matthews. He lost that fight in a unanimous decision to skid to a 3 fight losing streak.

He has only won one fight in his entire UFC career of 4 fights after joining the promotion in 2016. Norwegian promised a lot in the beginning but has since faded away with minimal appearances inside the octagon.

In his second fight, he fought against Mohammed Abdallah. Meek lost the fight via TKO in the first round. The loss brought a change in Meek’s workout schedule and worked hard on his game to ride a four-fight win streak.

Meek won the Venator Fighting Championship Welterweight title by defeating Rousimar Palhares in August 2016 by knockout in the first round. He stopped Palhares with a combination of punches and elbows to the side of his head while successfully blocking Palhares’ takedown attempt.
