Rose Namajunas has been one of the best fighters in her division for a long time. The former champion is an extremely skilled fighter. She is under the tutelage of one of the best minds in MMA in Trevor Wittman.

Thug Rose’s evolution as a fighter is surreal, and she is without a doubt one of the best strikers not only in her division but in the UFC period.

‘Thug Rose’ won her belt against Joanna Jedrzejczyk and defended it once before losing it to Jessica Andrade. She has since avenged her loss in July this year, which was the last time she stepped into the octagon.

On a recent live session with her fans on her YouTube channel, Rose was asked if she wanted to fight for the title contrary to what Dana White had been saying recently.

She replied, “I don’t know if you follow stuff that’s out there in the MMA news, but apparently there’s some confusion going on about my next fight and whatever,” Namajunas told her viewers. “So I don’t know. I’m not worried about any of that. I’m just ready to fight. I don’t know what’s going on, but I know that you guys are ready for me to fight, too.”

In a recent interview, Dana White stated that Rose was not ready to fight for the title as she did not like the pressure and spotlight that comes with being a champion in the UFC. ‘Thug Rose’ has been open about the fact that she does get overwhelmed as a champion.

On the same topic the former champion continued, “Maybe there’s a misconception out there that I’m weak minded or whatever or, ‘I can’t handle the pressures of being champion,’ or whatever the (expletive) people say. That’s not true. That’s what I live for. I’m the pressure cooker. What better reason to remind me why I fight than (my grandfather) passing away. I am super ready for all of that, because that’s what I am fighting for.”
