Sean Strickland vs Brendan Allen was one of the most anticipated fights at UFC Vegas 14. The middleweight bout was the second fight on a depleted main card that suffered a number of cancellations as fighters pulled out at the very last minute.
Both ‘Tarzan’ and ‘All In’ are unranked in the UFC’s middleweight division. While Strickland has been in the promotion for six years now, Allen joined the promotion just last year. He was handed his first UFC loss when ‘Tarzan’ stopped him in the second round of their fight to increase his active win streak to three.

After I look back, I’m like dude you’re an a**hole why were you bringing so much hate to this guy? He’s a good dude.”

Along the lines of having dark thoughts, Strickland continued, “When you’re in there you just find any reason to hate another human being…. People were coming up to me telling me he can’t take a fight next month because he has to be there for his children’s birthday. And I’m such an a**hole I’m like f**k you man, screw you and your great life. I’m going to try and break your face open. I’m going to take that from you, I’m going to orphan your kids. “
Sean Strickland entered the UFC’s record book as he secured one of the quickest turn around wins. It was just four days off Khamzat Chimaev’s record of 10 days.

Strickland made up for his inactivity in 2019 by taking on two extremely difficult opponents this year. He secured wins over both of them. As a result, ‘Tarzan’ has now placed himself well to be able to secure a rank in the division if he continues his good run of form. What did you make of his fight and press conference?
