However, Perry just tries to have fun at the end of the day. While his past antics should be scrutinized, he is capable of just being really funny sometimes. This is evidenced through this cameo that Perry made for someone’s 24th birthday.

Big congratulations for getting out of jail, make sure you stay out of jail and they want me to give you a few pointers on jiu-jitsu on how to escape the police. I’ll tell you what. Take your thumb and you either shove it up their a** or into their eye. Can’t go wrong, it’s guaranteed to work.”

Mike Perry: What’s next for him?

Mike Perry and his return to the Octagon is intriguing to many. While he did look really bad in his last fight, showing up overweight and then losing, there is still a little left in Perry to offer. We saw how his utter destruction of Mickey Gall went not too long ago.

The question is, is Perry motivated to fight and genuinely ascend up the rankings? He gave up full-time training, got rid of his corner staff to save money, and is now a father. There is a lot going on for Perry, so whether he has championship ambitions is unclear. Even if he did, both the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions are better than ever.

While Perry is a great fighter to watch, there is a chance we don’t see him in the Octagon again. His behavior outside the cage is a PR mess for the UFC. With his last performance being as underwhelming as it was, Dana White may just have seen everything Perry has to offer.
