Tecia Torres now moves to 2-0 with an impressive win tonight

In the post-fight press conference, a reporter asked ‘The Tiny Tornado’ what she wanted next. She said, “I definitely want somebody in the top 10. I asked for a top 10 for my last few fights and unfortunately didn’t get that. So I think that’s the best thing for me.”

When asked if she would be willing to accepting a last-minute fight Torres said, “No, I don’t walk around heavy, If I was told tonight I could fight in three or four weeks I would take the fight. Obviously the more time I have the better but I’m in great shape right now and no injuries so if the right opportunity was there I would take it. Especially if it was someone ranked above me.”

‘The Tiny Tornado’ started the fight well and was in control of the fight throughout. Towards the end of the first round, she landed some devastating punches and knees. The fight was stopped at the end of the first round, as Hughes was not able to see clearly due to the cuts and blood near her eye.
