Chael Sonnen views on Jon Jones’ demands

After the fight, Jones went on a tweeting spree. He tweeted and deleted many of his demands to the UFC, asking the UFC to show him the money and pay him what he deserves.

The same did not impress Chael Sonnen, and he talked about how Jones’ tweet about the money just shows how he does not want to fight.

Sonnen talked about how he felt about the demands put forward by Jones. He said, “As politely as Rashad put it, this is baffling, It’s baffling because John then went on and demanded a release.”

What baffled Sonnen even more was first why did Jones go public. And second, if he went public, why did he have to delete his tweets?

“He publicly went out and asked for a release. Now he deleted that in case you guys are scrolling through, how come I don’t see this, he deleted it, I dont know why he deleted it.” He said.

Jones is a champion, he is one of the greatest ever MMA fighters. Still, many people, including Sonnen, believe that his way of asking for demands and everything was just really peculiar.

“But even that is fascinating, it’s very fascinating because you are ultimately going to be confronted with this Jon, where are you going to go.”

Sonnen talked about how there are certain demands that fighters have which appear to be selfish. He also talked about he knows Jones and how he will fight if he has to, because Jones is a champion.

Whether Jones’ demands are baffling and unreasonable, we don’t know. Chael Sonnen thinks they are. We also don’t know if the Ngannou vs Jones fight will happen, but if it does, it would be a grand spectacle for MMA fans all around the globe.
