Valentina Shevchenko is without a doubt one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC at the moment. She is currently on a seven-fight win streak, with five of those fights being title defenses against the likes of Jessica Andrade and Katlyn Chookagian, among others. During her stint as a UFC fighter, ‘Bullet’ has suffered only two losses, both at the hands of Amanda Nunes, the consensus greatest female fighter ever.

Shevchenko aims to build on her legacy as a champion this weekend by adding another title defense to her name against Lauren Murphy. Interestingly, for her training camp to prepare for Murphy, she was joined by Brandon Moreno, the UFC men’s flyweight champion. Both ‘Bullet’ and ‘The Assassin Baby’ shared the UFC’s Performance Institute in Las Vegas as the base and therefore regularly trained together ahead of her upcoming fight.

Bullet added that her camp was split between Washington and Las Vegas. The first half of the training camp was done in Washington state and the second half at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas. It was there that she ran into Moreno and his group, and the two groups began training together.
‘The Assassin Baby’ and ‘Bullet’ both compete at the same weight class and are champions at the same. Training with Moreno would definitely have helped Shevchenko as she prepares for her UFC 266 match.
