Jon Jones, the former light heavyweight king, awaits a new challenge after relinquishing his belt. His last fight at 205 pounds was against Dominick Reyes. Since then, he has relinquished his belt. Jon now aims to add his name to an exclusive list of fighters who hold two belts in the UFC in two different weight classes.

In preparations for the same, Jones has posted multiple videos of him working out. ‘Bones’, who is lanky in nature, has been looking buff, as he seems to have put on some mass in anticipation for his move up in weight. The American fighter does not have a fight scheduled anytime soon and is therefore enjoying time off.

Jon Jones shares an impressive video of his dog, Dutch 

Jon Jones took to Twitter to share a video of his dog, Dutch. ‘Bones’ is seen moving forwards and backward with Dutch by his side. The dog shows extreme obedience as he follows the former champ every step of the way and mimicking every move he makes.

Jones often shares videos of his dog, a Belgian Malinois. Jon has, in the past, shared videos of him training his pet in obedience and protection training. His pet is a huge favorite among his fans who appreciate the well-trained nature of the dog.

 Jones is exasperated over the new pound for pound rankings 

Following his fight at UFC 254, Khabib Nurmagomedov requested the UFC to give him the title for the pound for pound best fighter in the world. The UFC obliged, and in the process, knocked Jones down to #2.

The former light heavyweight champion has shown annoyance at the same and has not shied away from sharing his thoughts on social media. The former lightweight champion has been critical of Nurmagomedov’s record and the fact that the UFC obliged to his wishes. 

“Woke up the lion”, Jones tweeted, in response to the rankings. We’re sure to see a man reinvigorated next time he steps in the octagon as he aims to take over another division and his place as the pound-for-pound number one back.
