Jon Jones is livid about Khabib Nurmagomedov being placed ahead of him
Following his win against Justin Gaethje, many believed ‘The Eagle’ to be the greatest fighter to have ever fought in the UFC. They make a valid point as an undefeated is impressive. However, the fact that Khabib has defeated 29 opponents on the trot makes it even more impressive. Furthermore, he has hardly lost a few rounds in his entire career.

However, the ‘GOAT’ talk did not bode well with another man who makes a very good claim for the title. ‘Bones’ is the youngest ever UFC champion. He has defended his belt against multiple former champions and future hall of farmers. Many consider Jon Jones as the greatest ever. However, his transgressions outside the octagon and his history with banned substances are used as arguments against him in the same debate.

UFC signed Jones nine months after his first-ever MMA practice. Khabib won his fourth world title at UFC 254. ‘Bones’ on the other hand has won 15. It is therefore understandable as to why it would annoy Jon Jones that he is being pipped by someone who has not proved his championship mettle as often as he has.
Do you think Jones is right? Is he undoubtedly the greatest of all time? Or does Khabib hold that title now?
