“I don’t f****ing know. Poirier’s a b**ch, Conor is a b**ch, Khabib is a b**ch. All three of them. I saw that they were going to take the number two and number four and put them over me and Chandler and put me at number 5. F*ck that. I’ve dealt with this company for a very, very long time. It happened once before with Conor, and it isn’t going to happen again.”

Tony added, “There’s no management to do any bad business behind my back anymore. You can’t be f***ing using that and manipulating the system and have fun with the UFC. Those guys owe me like half a million. Conor is in debt with me, so I’m coming after that. That’s why he’s laughing every time I post something, and that’s why he’s pushing Proper Twelve so hard.”

Tony Ferguson: Unfinished business with Conor McGregor?

What prompted Tony’s outburst is unknown, but the history between these two isn’t the best. Ferguson has called out McGregor on multiple occasions throughout his career. The pair would have fought for the UFC Lightweight title, as Tony held the interim championship after Conor disappeared following his title win over Eddie Alvarez.

A barrage of bad luck and injuries never allowed Ferguson to fight for the undisputed championship. Tony willingly took a main card slot under Conor and Khabib to make a statement, which he did. However, he kept losing his title opportunities and eventually lost a fight to Justin Gaethje.

Conor has benefitted from Tony’s poor luck, but to say that Conor owes Tony money because of that is odd. Nonetheless, Ferguson is known to have reactions like this, so maybe it all can be worked out. Fans will never say no to a Conor McGregor vs Tony Ferguson fight, that is for sure.
