This was the flyweight prospect’s first professional loss. Before that loss at UFC 246, Barber managed to earn 3 TKO wins in the UFC.

Grasso moved up to flyweight in her last bout. She faced Ji Yeon Kim in her divisional debut and managed to earn a unanimous decision win.

The Mexican fighter previously has had issues with making the Flyweight limit. She infamously came 5 pounds overweight against her proposed bout, Claudia Gadelha.

Grosso (12-3) is inconsistent in her record. She hasn’t gone on a winning streak for over 4 years. A fight against Barber will be nothing short of a tough matchup, despite the latter’s loss in her last outing.
