Paul recently established himself as a bonafide star when he took on Ben Askren earlier this month. A vicious right hand by ‘The Problem Child’ knocked ‘Funky’ out. Following a win over a former two promotion champion, Olympian, and decorated NCAA collegiate wrestler, Paul then went on a rampage, calling out a host of fighters.

Could Jake Paul fight a UFC fighter in his next fight?

Paul has been dismissed as a ‘legitimate’ fighter thus far. However, after securing a win against ‘Funky’ Askren in the manner that he did, it is hard to deny that ‘The Problem Child’ knows how to fight.

After his win, ‘The Problem Child’ was involved in trash talk against the likes of Tyron Woodley and Daniel Cormier, among others. A lot of fighters and fans alike did not like the way Paul addressed ‘The Chosen One’ (a welterweight great in the UFC) as he was inspecting Paul’s hand wraps ahead of the fight.

Paul, who was in attendance at UFC 261, was confronted by the former two-division champion Daniel Cormier. The pair almost got into an altercation even before the fights started.

Recently, Tyron Woodley was released from the UFC and is now a free agent. After his altercation with the celebrity boxer in the locker room, he stated he was interested in a fight against ‘The Problem Child’.

His free agency status would help him secure this fight easily. ‘The Problem Child vs ‘The Chosen One’ would be an excellent litmus test for the former, as the former UFC welterweight champion is a deadly striker.
