Prior to that, he fought against Laureano Staropoli at UFC Fight Night 173. And the same thing had happened with Staropoli as he missed weight. Staropoli had to give 20% of his purse to Means. The latter won that fight against the former by unanimous decision after Round 3.

His last loss came against Daniel Rodriguez at UFC Fight Night 167. Rodriguez submitted Means in the second round via guillotine choke.

Roberts has won only once in his last 3 fights. His last win came against Zelim Imadaev at UFC on ESPN+21. The bout ended when Roberts knocked out Imadaev in Round 2.

His two losses prior to that came against Michel Pereira and Claudio Silva. ‘Hot Chocolate’ first lost against Silva at UFC Fight Night 147 via armbar submission. He then lost against Pereira in the same year at UFC Fight Night 152 via KO.

The welterweight division is headed by a dominant champion in Kamaru Usman. Tim Means would try to continue his winning streak and hope to fight for the belt once before calling time on his career. Meanwhile, Roberts would like to add an experienced warrior to his young resume.
